Friends of Scotsdale Farm is a federally incorporated non-soliciting Not-for-profit
founded in 2014, located on the Niagara Escarpment,Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada.
Our Mandate is a simple one......to " Help Protect and Steward Scotsdale Farm"
with the support of Ontario Heritage Trust, and the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
We are very proud of what we do, and what has been accomplished thus far.
We will use this page to keep the public up to date with what is going on at Scotsdale Farm,
along with providing everyone with important information.
Over the years, the farm has been a popular spot for film shoots, which have included:
The Recruit, Fahrenheit 451, Taken, Reign and recently
Phoenix | Gilead 4 Productions have finished production of a Hand Maid's Tale. so things are back to normal at the farm. We ask all visitors to use the designated parking areas only, and be courteous to other visitors. Parking may be limited at times, so come prepared to come back at another time.
Scotsdale Farm is a beautiful, calming place to visit, so making it visible to the public is very important to us!
During September 121k found us on Google, with 1394 visiting our website!
Many of the migrating birds have headed down South, leaving behind our year around residents. On your hikes along the Bruce Trail you may also catch a glimpse of a deer, or maybe a coyote if you are extra quiet!
Keeping things tidy around the farm is a daily chore. We ask our visitors to dispose all of their unwanted stuff in the bins. This summer things were a little quieter than normal, but now that filming is finished, and as people search for a safe, relaxing place to visit things are getting busier. Please stay on the trails, follow safe distancing guidelines, and keep your pets on leash. Enjoy your visit. As the covid -19 crisis continues we expect everyone to follow the protocols too.
