Friends of Scotsdale Farm is a federally incorporated non-soliciting Not-for-profit
founded in 2014, located on the Niagara Escarpment,Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada.
Our Mandate is a simple one......to " Help Protect and Steward Scotsdale Farm"
with the support of Ontario Heritage Trust, and the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
We are very proud of what we do, and what has been accomplished thus far.
We will use this page to keep the public up to date with what is going on at Scotsdale Farm,
along with providing everyone with important information.
Over the years, the farm has been a popular spot for film shoots, which have included:
The Recruit, Fahrenheit 451, Taken, Reign and recently
Phoenix | Gilead 4 Productions will also begin filming again during the month of September, so plan your visits accordingly, as there will be limited access to the property during this period. We ask all of our visitors to continue to follow covid-19 protocols, and please use designated parking areas only.
Scotsdale Farm is a beautiful, calming place to visit, so making it visible to the public is very important to us!
We had 82k plus views on Google in July, with over 52k admiring the many photographs taken of the property.
There also seems to be an abundance of wildlife this year, so stay alert, you never know what you will see. Scotsdale is also a popular spot for the Monarch butterfly, as the caterpillars munch on the milkweed, on their way to becoming one of the most beautiful butterflies around.
Keeping things tidy around the farm is a daily chore. During the summer months, we empty our garbage bins two times a week! We ask our visitors to dispose all of their unwanted stuff in the bins. This year things have been a little quieter than normal, but as people search for a safe and relaxing place to visit and explore we anticipate things will continue to get busier as the year progresses. Please stay on the trails, follow safe distancing guidelines, and keep your pets on leash. Enjoy your visit.
